Terms of Service

LedgerLens is a product of Edukas Solutions LLC, a California limited liability company. In these terms, "LedgerLens", "we", "us", and "our" mean Edukas Solutions LLC. When you accept these terms, your agreement is with Edukas Solutions LLC, and it is the company responsible for providing the service and for the commitments made in these terms.

Written notices to us should be sent to the mailing address in the seller notice at the foot of this page, or by email to hello@ledgerlens.com.

You may use LedgerLens only in compliance with applicable laws and these terms. You are responsible for your account activity and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must provide accurate information when you register, and you may not use LedgerLens to upload fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful documents.

You retain responsibility for the files and information you upload. LedgerLens processes those files to extract transaction and document data for your use inside the service.

You should review extracted results before relying on them. Automated extraction can make mistakes, and you are responsible for verifying the output before using it for financial decisions or reporting.

Some extraction and categorization steps use an outside AI provider. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is sent, when, and what is never sent.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the billing interval you select, and continue until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for.

Stripe handles payment processing. LedgerLens never receives or stores your full card number.

New paid subscriptions are covered by our Refund Policy, which offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on the initial charge subject to a fair-use limit, and which does not cover renewal charges. The Refund Policy is part of these terms.

Some features, including Excel export, are available only on paid plans. If you are on the Starter plan and want a copy of your data, email us and we will provide it free of charge.

If pricing, feature limits, or plan structures change, we will update the public pricing page and provide notice where required for existing subscribers.

LedgerLens is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, especially while the product is in active development. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time.

We aim for a stable and secure service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free processing.

You may not attempt to probe, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with LedgerLens or any related systems. You also may not use the service to access, copy, or expose data that does not belong to you.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that threaten the security, integrity, or lawful operation of the service.

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Profile. Deleting your account permanently removes your documents, transactions, and other account data. Export anything you want to keep before you delete.

If we suspend or terminate an account for a reason described in these terms, we will tell you at the email address on the account where we are legally permitted to do so, and you may request a copy of your data before it is removed.

LedgerLens offers a read-only connector for OpenAI's ChatGPT through the Apps SDK. Using the connector is subject to these additional terms.

No legal, tax, or financial advice. LedgerLens is not a law firm, an accounting firm, a registered investment adviser, or a tax preparer, and LedgerLens is not a substitute for the advice or services of an attorney, CPA, enrolled agent, or licensed financial professional. The ChatGPT connector returns structured data extracted from documents you have uploaded; any summary, interpretation, or recommendation that ChatGPT produces from that data is the output of a third-party AI system applied to that data and does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for the questions you ask ChatGPT about your LedgerLens data and for verifying any conclusion you draw from those responses before acting on it.

Accuracy of AI output. ChatGPT is a third-party service operated by OpenAI. We cannot guarantee that ChatGPT will summarize, interpret, or present LedgerLens data correctly in every case. You should verify any figure that matters — for taxes, filings, or financial decisions — against the authoritative view on ledgerlens.com.

OpenAI policies apply in addition to these terms. Your use of the ChatGPT connector is also governed by OpenAI's Terms of Use, Usage Policies, and Privacy Policy. Your ChatGPT-mediated use of LedgerLens data must also comply with OpenAI's policies; LedgerLens is not responsible for OpenAI's policy decisions or enforcement. If a question or answer about your LedgerLens data implicates a specific situation — your tax filing, a legal matter, an investment decision — please consult a licensed professional.

Revocation. You may revoke LedgerLens's access from ChatGPT at any time, either from your LedgerLens account settings or from inside ChatGPT. We may also revoke or disable a specific token if we detect abuse, security risk, or policy violation.

Availability. We may change, restrict, or remove the ChatGPT connector at any time, including to comply with OpenAI policy changes. If we remove LedgerLens from the ChatGPT plugin directory, your core LedgerLens account on the web remains unaffected.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerLens is not liable for losses arising from ChatGPT's interpretation or presentation of LedgerLens data, or from outages or limits on the ChatGPT platform itself.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
