List every subscription charge on your bank statements
Upload the last 12 months of bank and card statements. LedgerLens finds charges that repeat from the same merchant, like a monthly app or a gym. You confirm which ones are subscriptions. Then download one Excel list with the date, merchant and amount of each charge, ready to hand to your tax preparer.

- Repeat charges found for you
- You confirm each one
- One Excel list
Why a list helps
A subscriptions total on a tax return is one number. If someone asks where it came from, you need the charges behind it. Your statements already have them, spread across months of pages. LedgerLens puts them in one list.
Make the list in four steps
- Upload your bank and card statements. PDF, CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO and photos all work.
- Open Subscriptions. LedgerLens shows charges that repeat from the same merchant, with how often they come and the average amount.
- Confirm the ones that are subscriptions and dismiss the rest. To add a charge it missed, open the charge and tick "Track as a recurring subscription."
- Open Statement list, choose Subscriptions, and download the Excel file. Give it to your tax preparer.
What the list shows
One row per charge, in date order.
- Date
- Merchant and the description from your statement
- Amount
- Category
- Your notes, if you add any

FAQ
Common questions
How does LedgerLens find my subscriptions?
It looks for charges from the same merchant that repeat on a steady schedule, such as weekly, monthly or every three months, in the last 12 months of statements you upload. It needs at least three charges from one merchant to spot a pattern. You then confirm or dismiss each one.
Does it list subscriptions automatically?
It suggests them. A charge goes on your list only after you confirm it, or tick "Track as a recurring subscription" on that charge. That way nothing lands on the list you would not stand behind.
What about a yearly subscription?
A charge that shows up once or twice in your statements won't be found as a repeat. Search for the merchant on the Transactions page, open the charge, and tick "Track as a recurring subscription." It will then be on your list.
Is it free to make the list?
Yes. Uploading statements and confirming your subscriptions costs nothing. Downloading the list as an Excel file needs a paid plan. See plans and prices.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You upload statement files you already have, such as PDFs from your bank's website. LedgerLens never asks for your bank login.
