Estate account statements, turned into one list
Upload the estate account's bank statements. LedgerLens lists every deposit and every payment on them by date, with the amount and the payee. Add a note to any line. Then download one Excel file to share with the family or the estate's lawyer, so everyone works from the same list.
Built from the statements you upload. No bank login.
- Money in and money out
- One Excel list to share
One list everyone can read
Months of estate statements are hard to follow, and harder to share. When money comes in from a sale and goes out to bills and heirs, families want to see each line. A single list by date keeps everyone looking at the same thing.
Make the list in four steps
- Upload the estate account's statements. PDF, CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO and photos all work.
- Open Statement list and choose Estate account. Pick the dates you need. It shows money in and money out.
- Read down the list. Change a category or add a note to any line, like "sale of house" or "funeral home."
- Download the Excel file and share it with the family or the estate's lawyer.
What the list shows
One row per deposit or payment, in date order.
- Date
- Description from the statement
- Amount, marked money in or money out
- Category
- Your notes

FAQ
Common questions
Who is this for?
Executors who want to show the family where the money went, and family members reading statements they've been given. Anyone with the estate account's statements can make the list.
The executor won't share statements. Can LedgerLens get them?
No. LedgerLens only reads statements you upload. It can't get records from a bank or from an executor. A probate lawyer can tell you how to ask for them.
Can I add notes to explain a payment?
Yes. Open any line and add a note, such as "property tax" or "paid to the funeral home." Notes are on the Excel list you download.
Is it free to make the list?
Yes. Uploading statements and reading the list costs nothing. Downloading the list as an Excel file needs a paid plan. See plans and prices.
Do I have to connect the bank account?
No. You upload statement files you already have, such as PDFs from the bank's website. LedgerLens never asks for a bank login.

LedgerLens lists transactions from the statements you upload. It isn't legal advice and isn't a court accounting. It doesn't say what a formal accounting must contain or whether the estate was handled correctly. Law and court rules set formal-accounting requirements. A lawyer can explain them and advise on concerns about how the estate was handled. Check the list against the original statements before relying on it.
